Books. I have too many books. I know, I know there have been questions floating around the online world about this very subject. What is too many for me - might not be too many for you. I have to go through the book elimination process pretty hard core every few years. I do not really like it at all. There is generally a build up to it. There is a feeling first. The feeling is generally - an anxiousness. This feeling tends to originate from a not being able to find a book that I am looking for. I do not like being in that position - however, it does alert me to a piling up of books.
With having moved four times in the past three years whittling down my book collection became a necessity. It was heart wrenching when I was inside the process to decide what to keep and what to let go; definitely a personal process. I did feel (mentally) lighter once I'd completed the seemingly insurmountable task. And now...I am accumulating all new books. :)
That sounds like what happens here. It is something I have to keep up with. I would like to be in a place where this is not so hard to do! I know more will always come back in.

I’ve recently thought of giving away some of my book collection as well - there’s something so comforting about having them around though.
That is indeed the challenge that I have Juliette. I hope to find some balance as well as space. Let me know how it goes for you!
